
History being very important in her life, Lady REd started dressing out period correct for history of St. Augustine in 1971. Later a 1982 member of Maidens Pub Association (Krewe Of The Blackheart) then then became a pirate. Keeping true to the history of St. Augustine, she worked hard with others to bring about pirate history in St. Augustine. Leading by example, she was at the first Devils Dozen induction in Baltimore, and helped bring the first Tall Ships to St. Augustine. Her proudest event was when the FBI asked her to do an event for them at the World Golf Village St. Augustine. She has many pirate eventa under her belt.
Throughout her career, Lady Red has supported many organizations, including the Pilot Club, American Business Women’s Association, St. Augustine Yacht Club, American Legion Auxiliary, ( Being an officer ). Sister Cities, Easter Festival (Royal Family), St. Joseph’s Academy, Serenata Beach club, Ladies Let’s go Fishing.
Charity:
Helped raise monies for: Pirates For Peg Legs, (Hattie was hit by a hurricane left children amputees. St. Augustine Youth Services, Sertoma, Hospice, Toys for Tots, Red Cross, St.Judes, closest to her heart Autism.
